Hi,

I have some problem about the rotational stiffness of the bushing. Actually, I would like to change the bearing balls with bushing joints in ANSYS Workbench. I have a normal bearing with the balls. I did the static structural analysis seperately under x, y, z, Mx, My, Mz with 1N force and 1Nmm moment. As a result of the static structural analysis I divided 1N (Force) with total displacement to find out the stiffness on x, y, z translational motion. I used this values for x, y, z stiffness of the bushing model. However, I couldnt find out how to show the angular deflection of the static structural analyis in ANSYS. Therefore, in the bushing model I dont have any value to write for the rotatinal stiffness as Nmm/rad.

Afterward, I did the modal analyse to compare the results. The bushing model creates first 3 modefrequency as rigid body modes, beacause of the zero values of rotational stiffnesses.

How can I find out the rotational stiffness of the bearing with static structural analysis? Or is there any other way?

By the way, I know that the bushing joint dont have any mass which leads to difference at the results. But, my first question is about how to get the rotational stiffness of the bearing. As a next step step, I could try to change the density,  elastic modulus of the materials or stiffness of the bushing joint to get close the results.

Thanks in advance...
