Dear researchers and Collaborators
In methodological studies (psychometric and development study), methodologists suggest that in the result s section, researchers must be reported “the percentage of missing items” in exploratory factor analysis. How can i estimate the percentage of missing values in my data file in spss?

If you have the module for multiple imputation, try this: Analyze > Multiple Imputation > Analyze Patterns. This provides some nice output of the sort you want (see the link below). HTH.

regarding your question (estimate the percentage of missing values in my data file in spss) you can do that by Replace missing value
first select Transform, and click on Replace missing value, then you can choose one of them to Replace missing value:
1. series mean
2. mean of nearby point
3. median of nearby point
4. linear interpolation.
