Hi,

I am currently designing a prototype underwater tethered kite. I am thinking of using the force that is acting on the kite to determine the aspect ratio of the kite.

Most of the papers about turbine is about turbine with diameter of 1m or greater. I am thinking of looking for thruster that is similar size and look at the drag of the thruster but i don'd know how accurate it will be.

I am also thinking about using blade element theory but i do not have the geometry of the turbine.

Please give me some suggestion. All feedback are appreciated.
