Dear all, after the complete dissolution of PVA, when I introduce the aqueous solution of 6M KOH, precipitates start to form (as shown in the pictures), otherwise if I introduce the KOH during or before the mixing phase, the solution becomes yellow and turns into a poorly assembled membrane! I changed the KOH by NaOH, but I see that the problem persists with the same effects.
