How can I control the number of nodes , while applying a 3D prism layers in ICEM CFD?

Hello Everyone ,

I am doing tetra prism meshing of a 3D airfoil in ICEM CFD . When I apply prism layer on the boundary of airfoil . I get very high number of nodes , more than 9 million nodes .

What steps I can take to reduce the number of nodes of mesh and still get a good prism layer capturing the boundary layer .
