How can I centrifuge without brake?

Hello,

I have to isolate PBMCs and the centrifugation is without brake.

My centrifuge is: Brai4, Jouan.

Could you help me, please?

Some centrifuges have a switch to turn off the brake. If your machine doesn't, and it has an active brake, you could try to switch it off or unplug it to let the rotor come to a stop on its own. You then might have to bypass the safety lock to open it and possibly also don't have cooling, so better do a test run and check with someone knowledgeable which safety precautions you have to observe.
