I have dissociation constant (Kd) for a drug- receptor complex. Can I calculate the minimum effective conc. (MEC) using this Kd?

Joint PK/PD modelling and optimization of dosing regimens are some of the benefits of deriving MEC using Kd of any drug or drug-related substance.
You might consider developing a PK/RO/PD model assuming that receptor occupancy (RO) is proportional to efficacy. As suggested previously, a joint PK/PD modeling approach linking PK of the drug to % RO using the equation: Cp/(Kd + Cp), and a suitable PD equation (e.g. direct effect, indirect response model) linking RO to an efficacy marker or endpoint can be performed. The model can may then be applied to find an optimal oral dose producing MEC and examine duration of efficacy. Hope this helps.
