I am working on isolation of magnetotactic bacteria from alpha proteobacteria phylum. I checked the bacterial morphology and growth in presence and absence of oxygen, shaking and solid state in anaerobic jar. No growth on 180 rpm agitation achieved despite 100 rpm was OK. Is there any additional experiments that can i do to make sure that is micro-aerophic bacteria?
