In Abaqus I have set up a model of feedrod and substrate, both are deformable body. Substrate will have a translational velocity in x direction. Feedrod will have both RPM and downfeed velocity i.e. v3 & vr3 over the substrate. How can I effectively apply both RPM and downfeed at the deformable feedrod?

I think I need to use some constraint, Its not a rigid body element.
Debanjan Maity . There is an option to couple certain nodes of a deformable body with a reference point. (See Constraints--->Couplings). Say for example you need to apply a load of 5 N/m in the end edge of a 3D cantilever beam (say, edge length being 0.5 m), what can be done is, couple the nodes with a reference point and apply a concentrated force of 2.5N in the reference point. It will uniformly distribute the load over the nodes. I think the same can be applied to rotation and translation as well.
Use coupling constraint to apply both transnational and rotational speeds on the 3D part.
