I have recently published a paper in "Fundberichte aus Baden-Württemberg" a regional publication of the state office of antiquities and monuments of Baden-Württemberg. This is a series forthcoming irregularely since 1972. Now it was volume 40.
It is principally a book and my contribution a chapter, but how to cite it in RG?
You may add it as an article, but the title of this series is not in RG's database of journals. In such cases I add the bibliographic data to the abstract field (like, e.g., in https://www.researchgate.net/publication/268925009). - However, as Rohit Bansal wrote, alternatively you may add it as a chapter in a book. Personally I would prefer the chapter version - see, e.g., https://www.researchgate.net/publication/338015671 which is a similar case. - The German National Library has Vol. 40 both as a book (with an ISBN, see https://d-nb.info/1254593721) and as part of a series with an ISSN (see https://d-nb.info/011035420).
