As the title said, I have synthesised Au-SnO2/SWCNTs materials, and I want to achieve its stable solution. I tried several solvent, such as ethanol, DMF etc., but none of them is good. Who can recommend one? Thank you.
You must use a surfactant to acquire the desired stability of your nanomaterial, otherwise it will form bulk material. The type of surfactant will depend on both your material and the solvent. Here is the link to a guide for this purpose. http://www.nanoparticles.org/pdf/Salager-E300A.pdf
Thank you for your suggestion. I had considered your proposal, but I don't know whether the surfactant will cover the surface of the material after drying process?(The drying temperature is about 80°C )
