Hello

Appeared in the scientific community recently the models for cancer stem cells , These models depend primarily on CSCs characteristics such as , rare stem cells , initiation, progression, metastasis and recurrence .The heterogeneity and hierarchy between all of the cells within a tumor. As a result of these characteristics , there are different models for cancer stem cells :

The first model emphasizes the concept of functional heterogeneity without considering the existence of intracellular genetic variation or genetically diverse subclones. In contrast, the CE model focuses on genetic heterogeneity but ignores the functional variation within individual genetic subclones . Although these two models seem to be mutually exclusive , How can advantage of them in the treatment of cancer and what are scientific explanations for these two models?!

I hope participation my in this important scientific issue

Thanks in advance
