Hi everybody.
As I am at the critical step of my project, I wonder which sequencing platform may results in more quantified and valid small -RNA Seq data. Today, the Illumina series are the dominant choice, but recently a potentially alternative platform has been developed by BGI i.e. BGISEQ-500. Hence, I am really worry of wrong choice that affecting my experiment output!
Can any one helping me out regarding this? comments would be highly appreciated.

Hi Zahra, it is a good question and I followed it. I will do the mRNA-seq recently and also get a quotation from BGI. They give the low price compare the other company. But it is also on the BGIseq-500 platform. I am not familiar with this platform. I am wondering whether you did the sequencing on this platform? Do you have any commend on this platform. Thanks a lot.

I have never tried this platform and do not know anyone who have experience on working with that! I just had suggestion on using that but I did not follow it.
