Hi everyone. I am hoping to get some help from people who are familiar with Chlamydomonas work. I am wondering if the Chlamy cells would be killed by too high concentration of autolysin?

I found the supernatant turned green after centrifuging of my autolysin treated Chlamy, suggesting the release of chlorophyll. As expected, the cells were proven to be dead already by plating them on TAP plate.

I couldn't find any literature reporting this issue.
