I have the following labview program. I want to log the sample time for the entire measurement duration. I am using a Elapsed Time Vi to log the data for every loop iteration of the for loop. This for loop is in a while loop. I want to log the sample tiem for the time i am running the program so, if the for loop begins at 0 again the sample time should continue. can somenone helpm me? With the current situation i get a wrong sample time
I recommend that you use the tick count function found in the timing subpalette of the programing palette
As per my understanding, you want to count the total time run in while loop irrespective of the for loop time. If it is so you can remove the for loop and place the function directly in while loop. Let me know if your aim is something else
You can use the tick count function before and after your procedure together with the flat sequence structure. This procedure fails for a few milliseconds but there is no way, the process of measure time also takes time. About the attached figure, reemplace the more external for loop with a while loop
