I have total 20 Strains of four different fungal species, Now i want to characterize all of them. On what parameters, I can characterize them? Your suggestion will be highly appreciated thanks in advance

2- Easy growth on the surface of the culture medium
3- Growth rate
4- Spores production
5- Possibility of mass production

1) Consider doing biotests to estimate host mortality at 24, 48 and 72 hours.
2) Consider several target hosts of economic importance for your region.
If you want to characterize them in terms of pathogenicity you need to curry out tests, such as those proposed by Mr Cheragi. Pathogenicity tests are carried out on pathogen specific hosts. Therefor, you first need to culture the strains in selected media, then produce inoculum and artificial inoculate the hosts. Incubate at certain conditions (favourable for pathogen development) and record symptoms and severity of the disease. If no disease is developed, then your strains lack of pathogenic strength.
