I want to prepare different bio pesticides formulation, Now I want to know about dust type formulation, at what ratio shold I mix active and inert gradient ? And for oil despersion how much spores should be mixed in one liter of oil or water? your kind suggestions in this regard will be highly appreciated. Thanks in advance
what ratio shold I mix active and inert gradient ? Try 100/0; 90-10;80-20;70-30;60-40 and 50-50 and verify the viabililty of the spores, choose the ratio optimum.
As a carrier, water will be cheaper than oil and will not cause phytotoxicity problems. Do you want to formulate bacterial or fungal spores ? If you intend to use bacteria, use the rates of commercial Bacillus thuringiensis as a first approximation. Same reasoning if you use fungal spores. First, test one rate (close to a commercial formulation) against a control. Following this first step, use a series of dilution.
