I was searching how to remove phenols from my freeze-dried samples and I found that with PVPP is possible to do it, but there aren't guidelines about the amount and in which step I should use it. I can't modified much pH of extracts to not compromise the subsequent reaction according to Cataldo method.

In my previous lab we have worked to remove polyphenolic compounds from different plant extracts and there are few ways you can achieve this. Have a look at the article (attached below) we published recently to get an idea. The method we have developed is quite fast and easy. Hope this helps. Cheers!
