in unani system, there is concept of reyah i.e. gases enclosed in stomach or else, and with this concept we advice kasir e reyah i.e. which dissolves the gases and we got result.
same time H2 blockers and PPIs relives the hyperacidity and heart burn but it fails to relives the abdominal distention due to gaseous formation.

Of course the production of excessive abdominal gas is not related with the presence of hyperclorhidric state. It is more related with a class of malabsorption syndrome. In these cases it is conveniente first to discard a cause of malabsorption syndrome or food intolerance
