The GI value in food is usually measured by calculating 50g of carbohydrate content of food, taken on an empty stomach, and measuring blood glucose. But in the case of beer GI measurement please is there a standard applicable to beer beverages? The sugar and water content in beer is 3%, and if you use the food GI standard, you have to drink 1666ml, which is too much.
