I'm wondering what the cause might be. This is a DNA sequencing gel run with 0.25mm spacers and running at 2000V. I don't understand why I would get streaking like this at all. Is it possible that my spacers are going bad? Have the glass plates deformed?
Has anyone else had this issue in the past and can you recommend any remedies?

I have never seen the large streaks that you show but I guess that a possible explanbation is that the gel might have detached from one of the plates and buffer has moved between the gel and the plate. The more vertical streak at the bottom is probably due to a tiny air bubble either in the well during loading or in the gel itself..
Thank you, Grantley - this has been happening quite a bit recently and I'm wondering if the glass has actually warped - I have no idea how likely that is.
