Hello, how is your control without EMS? The development is okay? Honestly I tried casein for different purposes but without any wonderful effect. What is your expectation of EMS on drought tolerance? Do you have a screening test?

Control is also suffering the same issue. We are expecting that the through EMS Treatment probably we will be able to get the desired mutants which will help us to combat with drought stress in sugarcane. We will go for screening after the establishment of callus. At one stage it looks to me that my callus is going good but unfortunately on latter stages it started getting brownish and finally blackish.  

Dear casein is not necessary if you use myoinositol I hope you will get good results. In sugarcane callus regeneration time of callus transfer is too important. In sugarcane callus regeneration try to use 5mg/L NAA and 0.5mg/L kinetien.
