One of the RG goals is to connect researchers from different countries around the world to start a joint collaboration and to find a common research interest. Has RG achieved this goal in your case?

About 10 years ago I became aware of RG, but because of my multiple activities as a clinical doctor, health sector manager of my country, medical researcher and medicine teacher, I could not register and interact actively in this network, until 2013 I did it more regularly, updating my curriculum and total publications.
In RG, if I have fulfilled the objective of getting to know more researchers from all over the world, read their publications of first source in different languages and make personal, critical and technical comments to their works.

Yes, I contact with other researchers come from different countries and cultures. I hope to join a project or publish a joint paper with them. My eyes became more opener than before, and involved research updates.
Yes, you are absolutely right about the degree of collaboration among the scholars on researchgate. However, as your insightful question indicates, the fault is more with RG members not the RG itself. I really like to work collaboratively and welcome any offer related to my field, which is applied linguistics.
For now - no, but I see that there are many possibilities for establishing cooperation.
I was almost getting collaboration through RG but conditions ruled me out. I benefited others.

It is of course an individual member of a researcher to follow & joint in the suggestive measure for collaboration as been observed that quite good project which has been presented as part of researcher program if any member can tune with the same he may certainly suggest for his well experience ,knowledge also for suggestive measure for collaboration .

Yes, currently my participation and correspondence with RG researchers is very high. I have fully fulfilled my objectives of knowing the scientific work of others, value it and also spread mine.
Yes, there is a continuous exchange of views but has not reached the stage of joint research work.

In my case yes.....I had started working with a very well established researcher,and they directed me to RG,where I've not only found several similar researchers,but a large number of people with research interests that directly influence my own fields.

Yes in my case. Recently, i had collobarate with caliber researcher that i found in RG. We worked together to publish our journal n it was successfully published.
