We would like to immobilize phytase (Molecular weight is around 80 kDa) on ReliZyme carrier. Would someone be so kind to help us in selecting the best option, since they have variety of them?
hi...you can used many carrier to enzyme immobilized like gelatin , chitosan and relizyme with calcium alginate with or without added glutraldehyde (cross-linking).
Relizyme and Sepabeads displays similar characteristics: i) high physical and chemical stability, low swelling in high molar buffers and very good mechanical properties, ranging from 100-300 micrometer (particle size) (S grade) or 200-550 (M grade). Relyzimes EP403 (functionalized with epoxdye groups) are very common option for enzyme immobilization. Here you have some protocols with epoxy-activated Sepabeads EC-EP303 that you can apply with Relyzimes EP403.

I could not find this reference in the brochure. However, I suppose ReliZyme has given the best option according to your requirements
