Has anyone tried northern blot with serum miRNA. Can you suggest what will be the optimum range of quantities of probe one can start working with?

for quantifying miRNA by blotting what should be a safe range of amount of probe that can be used for hybridization

I think miRNA are small molecules to be detected and quantified using Northern Blot. The best way to quantify your materiel is QPCR
