Has anyone grown Schwann cells in F-12K media, not DMEM media?

I am wondering if F-12K media would affect cell growth of Schwann cells, as compared to DMEM normally used for Schwann cells I have.

Gloria,

All cell culture is an artifact. If you use a CO2 incubator, it is important that the bicarbonate ions a properly buffered. Also, each cell type has a preferred carbon source eg., glucose or pyruvate. Use your engineering skills. Do Schwann cells grow in 21% oxygen?
