I'm working on the ELISA plates produced by PAA Cell Culture Company and I am very satisfied. Nunc, Becton Dickinson, PAA are good companies and they have good labware. I used Black & White Immunoplates (Fluoro- & Luminoplate) from PAA and i was very satisfied.
I think that cancer cells can very well grow in any well known companies 96 well plate designed for tissue culture work. I suggest you to use NUNC 96 well plates with flat bottom
I have also similar experience with Rakesh. Tissue culture treated BD falcon 96 well plates work well for adherent cells. I had good experience with breast cancer and uveal melanoma cells.
I actually use Rayto RC2100C elisa instrument and the cell culture 96 well microplates (e.g., corning costar 12.8 cm x 8.5 cm) did not fit the plate holder. I wonder if anyone use Rayto elisa and would suggest a cell culture treated 96 well plate for this instrument.
Yes, we did remove the lid. And it still did not fit Rayto brand elisa. Cell culture plates are 12,7 cm x 8.5 cm. But standart elisa plates are about 12.2 cm x 8 cm.
I usually do not start the cuture in such plat but i do transfer cells there for testing but i don;t you can keep them long there as they very quickly in small wells and they confluent and start dying. It also important to start with small number for the rapid dividing cell lines.
Sarstedt 96 well plate works well and Greiner too. We seed 1xE4 cells per well in 100µl per well, but our cells are comparatively small and grow slowly, the only real problem that can arise (in my opinion) is that the cell density is too high. Good luck for your experiments!
96-well plates, cellGrade from BRAND. Cultured cells show same proliferation rates when compared to other brands. However, in my eyes it seems that the adherence of cells is better supported by this surface. I would recommend this microplate for adherent cell cultures when your workflow/cultivation contains a lot of media exchanges or washing steps.
We do grow cancer cells in 96 well plates for cell growth or other studies. We used Nunc dishes for these experiments becuase we can see cells under phase contrast microscope more clearly. We put maximum of 5000 cells per well for our experiment
