Hello, I am currently in the process of designing a virome extraction protocol for fecal samples obtained from transgenic mice, with a specific focus on the gut virome. I would greatly appreciate it if someone could provide suggestions for a virome extraction protocol or recommend a commercially available kit that can extract both DNA and RNA viruses simultaneously. It's important to note that we do not have access to an automated extraction facility, so a manual extraction protocol would be the preferred option. Thank you in advance for your assistance.
