In my opinion, the RG site is useful in solving scientific problems and shows the researcher's ability. Besides, the separation of the H-index from the self-citations and the overall index is an exciting idea.

I think it is so clear, that as soon as you publish your paper, and uploaded to RG , researchers will follow every new beneficial topic they are looking for!!. Cheers.
Through RG's "Home feed" I have noticed many papers which I would hardly found otherwise. - However, I wished that there were more possibilities to control this feature by settings, i.e. to be targeted more precisely. Currently, I may follow or unfollow other RG members. Perhaps my profile settings (especially the indicated "Disciplines") also have an influence on "Home feed", but there is no information how it works exactly. The only very short information on this important feature is at https://explore.researchgate.net/display/support/Getting+started : "Your home feed is where you'll discover the latest research and other updates from your network. Simply click Home at the top left of any page to get back to your home feed."
