Is there any type of plants grown in space station which may contribute towards aerospace medicine and help people who travel in space.
@Manab: Micro-alga Arthrospira (Spirulina) platensis (not a high plant) is expected to be very helpful to improve human metabolism during Spece exploration. The return from extraterrestrial cultivation of high plants is significantly lower than from the cultivation of microalgae.

Plants are normally fibrous as radish,beetal root,cabbage and letuce are the production at ISS these plants are nutritive and rich in biological Iron content thus definitely show a beneficial and pronunced health effects in aerospace medicine.
