I'm trying to use R to perform geometric morphometrics and I'm facing difficulties in inputing my data.
I've de Geomorph publication (Adams & Otárola-Castillo 2013), and in their example the array has already the two different groups.
I have 2 different .tps files of the groups I want to test, how do I work with 2 different files in R ? Or should I create a single .tps file with both groups, if so, how do I tell in .tps which image belongs to each group ??

If you want to compare both groups, it is easier to have all individuals in the same tps file. You could read everything separetely and then merge the files in R. But it is a lot easier to have everything within the same tps file.
Regarding the second question, you do not tell the tps file which groups they belong. The tps file is only used to maintain shape information. To keep your other variables on track, you need a separate file. You will need two columns: one for the photograph name and another column for the group. Please ensure that this file is in the same order as your tps file. Then, read this separate file on R. And there you have it. You can merge them later using the geomorph.data.frame if you want.
