Hello, our laboratory is working with or trying to anyway, gamma synuclein obtained from three recombinant expression in e.coli. from three different manufactures. They all claim to be using the same sequence but our antibodies are reacting differently to different ones depending upon the analysis used. For instance ones that work great in native dot blot do not work in ELISA and some that work in IP fail in ELISA. Granted materials could be bad from the vendors but they are long established firms. I am just wondering if anyone else has seen such variation with gamma? And does anyone think it is worth while to pay the extra money for mammalian cell expressed material? Our goal is biomarker ELISA work from animal models for ultimate work in human disease. thank you for your advice.
