For elctro-Fenton system, if a modified cathode can capture O2 from air when aeration, will it be an innovative idea and make the system more economic since air is cheaper than pure O2?
Is it possible to load some nano-particles that can absorb O2 on graphite cathode?

You can use a carbon cathode, but i'm not sure about its efficicency capturing O2. There are some articles about electro-fenton system with carbon cathode, but O2 is dissolved in water. I don't know the potential of carbon cathode in a kind of gas system.
As you say, it will be an interensting use of cathode. The goal is to know what kind of particles can work absorbing only O2. Probably, we can start to think about coordinate compunds as in blood.
in fuel cells we use porous electrodes such as Toray paper as cathode to allow the cell "breath" using O2 from air as the oxidant source instead of pure oxygen dissolved in the solution, also the oxygen concentration is higher in air than dissolved as well as diffusivity is increased using air as oxygen source

yes you can do thator incorporate them in the toray or other porous electrode
