How much buffered formalin phosphate do you use compared to the amount of tissue?

You may soak the fat chunk in the formalin

The bigger the fat chunk the more formalin you should use. I am just having problems with fixing my tissue and I think I didn't use enough volume of formalin and I was wondering if you use a certain volume / tissue.
