Comsol is not precise with regard to giving the location of the min if there are the minimum of numerical instabilities. Posting the software entire manual is very unhelpful though, I looked in there

Make the mesh very fine, otherwise you will not be able to use ==, and in general you probably need some kind of interval. You can plot your variable across the line in r-direction, but you can also show peaks where the variable (here p) is close to the value x0 (here set to 0.5) as r*(p>0.49)*(p
