Dear scientists,
I would like to stain the formaldehyde-fixed, OCT-embedded human liver tissues with anti-Hep Par-1 antibodies (DAKO; clone OCH1E5) for IHC staining.
Do you by any chance having the experience regarding this issue? Is antigen retrival required to acheive a good staining? I am currently finalizing my project and really grateful to learn from you, so that I could save time on testing.

In my oppinion,
It is nice to save time, but you may not get the feeling of happiness of succeed in catching the result by your self.
If you want to be a good researcher and eminant figure in your feild you have to try.
It is very easy and very simple to try to dko staining for one or two slides and you can do minor different changes and triles....You may discover a new technique and publish a novel methods in staining even you can have a patent by your name..
