It could be anything that shows results about memory, attention, reasoning, abstraction, creativity or other cognitive abilities.

I'm not sure whether this is relative to education, but you can read the papers on neurofeedback. Especially those that focus on ADHD and other concentration issues.

Do note though that neurofeedback studies are receiving some criticism, so be careful
