We are currently generating NK cells from iPSC-derived embryonic bodies (EB).

After 1 Week HPC (CD34+) Differentiation in APEL2 medium (+Y27632, SCF, VEGF. BMP4) followed by 3 Weeks in NK Differentiation medium (+SCF, IL-7, IL-15, IL-3, Flt3L) NK cells are generated.

However, during this process a large bubbles are generated which are visible via eye. These increase during this process by size and have a ball-like transparent structure.

Therefore, we are investigating if these are cystic embryonic bodies or other necotric cell debris (see picture, left side).
