After electrospinning 17 wt% cellulose acetate, diacetylation was performed in a 0.05M aqueous NaOH solution. After that, it was washed several times with distilled water and dried naturally in a 25°C, about 30% humidity environment.
Originally, no contraction or deformation occurred even after drying, and it was almost similar to the fiber immediately after spinning, but at some point, contraction occurs and hardens and breaks easily in the form of a translucent plastic film.
I tried increasing or lowering the temperature and humidity when drying, and washing with ethanol or acetone is not effective. How can I solve this problem?
