For example, if you use the M13 scaffold for an Origami with a lenght of 7000 nucleotides, since the M13 scaffold has 7249 nucleotides, what happens to the remaining unpaired 249 bases? Is it required to shorten the scaffold or do the unused nucleotides have no effect on the assembly of the origami?
