Does anyone know how to get permission to use the CE-Scale Short form by Goddard, Hoy, and Hoy? We have contacted the email addresses that were available and are unable to get in contact with the researchers. Does anyone have a suggestion? Thank you!
Hi, I have also contacted them to the use the scale at the email address almost a month ago but i haven't received a reply yet. I will let you if I hear anything!
Amanda Mathis If you have previously attempted to contact the researchers and have received no answer, you may choose to contact the publisher of the journal in which the CE-Scale Short form was published. The publisher's permissions department may be able to assist you in obtaining permission to use the instrument.
You might also try contacting professional groups or organisations linked to your subject of study. These organizations may have knowledge or resources about gaining authorization to utilize research instruments.
It's also worth mentioning that certain instruments are free to use without permission, whilst others may demand permission and/or money. Before using an instrument, make sure to verify its copyright and licensing requirements.
If everything else fails, you may need to explore utilizing a different instrument that is publicly available or has less restrictive permission needs.
