Hello,

I want to isolate, amplify and sequence DNA from very small invertebrates (mainly crustaceans) that are colored with rose bengal. The sequencing will be run on an ABI-Prism-3730xl-Sequencer (based on Sanger).

Now I want to know if anyone has some experience with sequencing DNA from colored samples, especially crustaceans and other invertebrates? Does this work well? Or is it more difficult to get viable sequences?

Thanks,

 Sebastian
