I follwed a procedure to prepare zsm-5 zeolite by a template free hydrothermal method. But all the obtained products were amorphous not crystalline. In XRD characterization no any peak obtained. Can someone please suggest me the reason for that? I tried several microwave aging temperatures too to check whether there is a problem with aging. But still i got amorous materials. But i did not do the calcination step. Will it be the reason?
For both template and template-free synthesis of ZSM-5 requires calcination. Generally 550 degree. Is the reported literature calcinated or not?

The purpose of calcination is to eliminate any moist. To avoid any contamination you can calcinate your materials

One has to be careful about hydrothermal synthesis with the following factors like a Filling fraction (recommended is 80 %), the temperature of reaction, and time of reaction of course the dilution of the solvent also important.
Dear Dilini Perera, whatever the literature provided by Prof. Nadir Fadhil Habubi gives sufficient answer to your question. Also, everyone suggested the calcination @ 500 deg. Cel. So kindly do the calcination, even after calcination also forms as an amorphous phase, then something wrong with your preparation and ZSM 5 has not formed at all.
