Hi everyone, I would like to know if the agrobacterium cells can be stored after their transformation with the plasmid of interest for future plant transfection via agroinfiltration. If the answer is positive, would the transfection be more effective if the agrobacterium transformation is done just before the agroinfiltration?

Yes and no. So we wait for our cloning to get over and just to transfection due to which yes you should do it right away. and it will be more effective.
If you do not do it right away. please store your plate in 4C for future use.
FYI: I have always done it right away and got a lot of positive transformants.

We always do it at the same day, with the most freshly prepared Agrobacterium solution. I think that is the best way to do it.
Agrobacterium solution should be fresh, but transformed agrobacteria can also be kept as a glycerol stock at -80
