We know that in the CRISPR Cas9 system, sgRNA and cas9 together cleave/silence/block/bind areas of interest in the genome. However, would sgRNA alone (without the cas9) be able to Target the gene of interest?. It need not silence/delete it. Would the sgRNA stick to the area of interest in the genome?
