Does Neomycin resistant gene can be used as selectable marker to generate stable HT-29 cell line ?

Hi Everyone,

I want to generate stable HT-29 cell line for HIV-culture using the Neomycin resistant gene. I often found the uses of Neomycin resistant gene for HEK cell line and CEM cell line. Does anyone ever use Neomycin resistant gene for producing HT-29 cell line.
