We are preparing hyaluronic acid ( Molecular weight 50 kda) nanoparticles by desolvation process but getting higher size of 800 nm. Can anyone suggest alternative to get lower particle size of less than 150 nm...???
0.1 g of pre-purified chitosan (average molecular weight 10 kDa) is dissolved in 100 ml of filtered 1% CH3COOH filtered through a 0.45 μm pore diameter filter. To the resulting solution, with a mechanical agitator (200 rpm) for 2 hours, add 0.1 N KOH solution at a rate of 0.2 ml / min at a temperature of 20 ° C to a pH of 6.9. The resulting dispersion is centrifuged and the solid residue redispersed in bidistillate (0.1 g in 100 ml). Then, it is filtered through a filter with a pore diameter of 0.45 μm. The particle size is 83 nm. Try our synthesis.
