Hello everyone,
We are trying to introduce THP-1 cells to our lab but the incubator we can spare for mammalian lines has some inconsistencies with its CO2 levels, it shifts %±3-4 percent some days (we have observed that when it is set to 5%, it can go between 3.6% to 6% also it went to 8% from 5% once) but it works fine 70% maintaining the levels on 5%.
Do you think that its fine to incubate these cells in this kind of environment? I can expect that they will proliferate at a slower rate but would this issue cause us bigger problems than that?
