Due to high flexibility IDPs expected to have higher sensitivity in NMR compared to structured proteins. Is this hypothesis correct? If yes can you suggest a suitable reference for this?
Dynamic nature of IPDs 'may' render them more sensitive towards NMR but at the same time it brings-in another problem of signal overlaps and therefore make it difficult to be studied using NMR. Rather, it's also said that it is not limited to sensitivity but the resolution of spectral measurements which is evident from the fact that it can be improved by optimizing the relaxation detection or making measurement at low temperature or different pH etc.
