Compared to other kind of fonts in the early stages of the acquisition of the processes of reading and writing

Can you sepcify what you mean by development of brain? Does it mean simply acquiring reading and writing skills more rapid or exhibiting a general positive effect in terms of enhancing neuroplasticity for developing motor skills alongside reading/writing ones as well?
It is logical that the more different stimuli involved, a broader part of brain will be involved to create associations and it will be easier to build other 'blocks of knowledge' upon a broader set of foundations.
I don't know any studies particulary dealing in this topic, but it might be testable since today's children use tablets and other deivces even before they learn to write or read via pen&paper or books.

We are working on reading and writing at an early stage.We are investigating if there's any research comparing the use of cursive compared to block letters or small print.
We don`t intend to compare cursive to digital writing the haptics of writing are completely different and there, we've found in some papers, the benefits of the perceptual sensorimotor combinations using cursive.
Still we would like to know more about cursive .Each country decides which kind of letters they are going to use from the beginning and that varies a lot.
